Kitara FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa has challenged his squad to channel the same grit and belief they showed against Police FC when they face URA at the refurbished Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
Buoyed by last week’s gritty 2-1 victory over an in-form Police side, Bbosa insists the team must treat that win not as a one-off result but as a springboard.
“Following that win against Police, there is confidence in the team, and we believe we can build on that,” said Bbosa to the press.
The tactician reiterated that Kitara’s ambitions this season demand consistency, especially in high-pressure away fixtures.
“We want to be competitive, and our target is to finish in the top four so we must win matches,” he added.

Bbosa was also quick to acknowledge the pedigree of their opponents, warning his side that URA remain one of the league’s toughest assignments:
“URA is one of the biggest teams in the division with quality players and staff, and we respect them, but we aim for three points.”
The match marks only the second game for interim URA coach Edward Golola, who made an explosive return to the dugout with a thrilling 7-3 win over struggling Buhimba United Saints.
Victory for Kitara would propel them from sixth place into joint third, while URA, currently on 11 points, would overtake the visitors with a home triumph.
