BUL FC will be out to put the brakes on Buhimba United Saints’ perfect start to the Uganda Premier League when the two sides square off at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
The league newcomers have taken the top tier by storm, cruising through their first three fixtures with a flawless record. Buhimba have dispatched Entebbe UPPC, Calvary, and Kitara in commanding fashion, scoring freely while keeping a clean defensive slate, a run that has placed them at the summit of the table.
BUL, on the other hand, have endured a more mixed start to the campaign. The Jinja outfit have gathered five points from three matches, edging Maroons for their only victory so far, while sharing spoils with Mbarara City and URA in the other two encounters.

Despite the contrasting starts, BUL’s assistant coach James Magala remains upbeat about his side’s readiness and home resilience.
“We have prepared the boys well for the game tomorrow. We have gone a long time without losing at home, and we are building on that to extend our unbeaten run,” Magala said. “We know that Buhimba is a team that hasn’t lost any game yet this season, but the boys know what’s at stake tomorrow, and we shall do our best to win the game.”
However, BUL will have to cope without several of their regular starters. Influential winger Ibrahim Orit, dependable defender Isaac Musiima, and midfielder Thomas Ochungo are all nursing injuries, while forward Richard Okello remains unavailable due to national team commitments.
The match promises a stern test for both sides, Buhimba looking to prove their early dominance is no fluke, and BUL aiming to reassert their home authority against the league’s surprise package.
