Ugandan champions Vipers SC have unveiled their travelling party for this week’s CAF Champions League assignment against Namibia’s African Stars.
The announcement was made through the club’s official social media handles on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
“Here is the travelling squad for the Champions League Qualifiers match against Namibia’s African Stars FC at the Athlone Stadium,” the club posted.

The Kitende-based side will make the long trip to South Africa, where they are scheduled to face African Stars at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town on Friday.
Vipers’ roster features 22 names, with the squad broken down into two goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders and five forwards. The group carries a blend of experience and new faces, underlining the club’s intent to make a strong impression on the continent.
The team departed in the wee hours of Wednesday aboard Kenya Airways as they embark on what they hope will be a fruitful continental adventure.
