Ugandan Premier League side Kitara FC have strengthened their defense with the acquisition of seasoned center-back Isa Lumu Muzeeyi, who joins from Express FC on a two-year deal.
The towering defender becomes the latest reinforcement for the Royals as they continue assembling a competitive squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Speaking to the club after sealing the move, Lumu expressed delight at the new challenge.
“I’m honored to sign for Kitara FC. The club has shown it is a strong side, and I am eager to contribute towards winning silverware with this team,” he said.

Club CEO Joshua Atugonza welcomed the signing with optimism.
“Lumu is a complete player who brings quality and leadership. We are confident he will deliver in line with our ambitions,” he noted to the club.
Lumu arrives with vast experience both locally and abroad, having turned out for Masaka LC, Kira Young, SC Villa, Tooro United, Horizon FC in Thailand, and most recently Express FC. His addition is expected to add depth and stability to Kitara’s backline as they target a successful season.
