Kitara FC have completed the signing of experienced Ugandan defender Murushid Juuko on a two-year contract, marking his return to competitive football after a year away from the game.
The 31-year-old centre-back has been without a club since parting ways with Vipers SC at the end of the 2023/24 season, where he contributed to the Venoms’ defensive set-up before mutually agreeing to move on. His arrival at Kitara is seen as a major boost for the Royals, who continue to strengthen their ranks ahead of the new Uganda Premier League campaign.
Juuko brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously featured for some of the biggest clubs in Uganda and beyond. He first made his mark at Bunamwaya SC (now Vipers), before moving to SC Victoria University.
Experience meets ambition.
