SC Villa produced a commanding performance on Friday evening, brushing aside Uganda Premier League newcomers Buhimba United Saints 3-0 at the Royals Park in Butema.
The visitors, who had burst onto the topflight scene with three straight wins, have now hit a rough patch, their bright start dimmed by consecutive defeats. After a 3-0 loss to BUL FC, they suffered another humbling by the Jogoos, who looked sharp and purposeful from start to finish.
It took Villa barely two minutes to find their rhythm and the opener, as Reagan Mpande lifted the ball over advancing goalkeeper Derrick Ayebale with remarkable composure.

The hosts doubled their advantage midway through the first half when Aslam Ssemakula latched onto a clever David Owori corner and drilled home a low effort into the far corner.
Mpande capped off a superb individual display after the restart, finishing neatly from an Ibrahim Kasinde assist to seal the points and complete his brace.
The victory pushes SC Villa up to sixth on seven points, while Buhimba, once early-season pace-setters, now slide to third with nine points from five games.
