Uganda Premier League outfit Kitara FC have signed and unveiled massively versed midfielder Emmanuel Alex Wasswa.
Wasswa joins the Royals as a free agent following the expiration of his employment contract with seven-time Uganda Premier League champions, Express FC
The 32-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract with the Hoima based side.
“Former Express FC captain Emmanuel Wasswa is now a Royal!,” Kitara confirmed in a statement. “A commanding presence, a fighter, and a leader by example, Wasswa is here to inspire the Royals with heart, grit, and determination.”

He will reunite with his former teammate Isa Lumu who also joined Kitara FC from the Red Eagles.
Kitara FC under the stewardship of George William Lutalo and Wasswa Bbosa have embarked on a rebuilding process following a disappointing 2024/25 campaign.
Mweru Doka, Amir Kakomo, Sadiq Ssekyembe, Meddie Kibirige are some of the other new signings at Kitara FC. They also remain in talks with experienced defender Murushid Juuko.
