Entebbe UPPC Football Club have bolstered their defensive ranks with the acquisition of seasoned left back Isa Mubiru, marking their latest statement signing ahead of the new Uganda Premier League campaign.
Mubiru, who spent last season at KCCA FC, was officially unveiled by the “Printers” on Friday morning. The club expressed their delight at landing the experienced defender.
“We are thrilled to welcome Isa Mubiru to the UPPC family. His quality, versatility, and experience will be vital to our ambitions this season,” the announcement says.
The 28-year-old brings a wealth of top-flight pedigree, having previously starred for Vipers SC, where he collected multiple domestic titles, and UPDF FC. His departure from KCCA was widely anticipated after limited opportunities at Lugogo, paving the way for a fresh chapter in Entebbe.
In joining UPPC, formerly Gaddafi FC, Mubiru reunites with head coach Abdallah Mubiru, rekindling a professional relationship first forged during his stint at KCCA.

The transfer represents UPPC’s eighth confirmed signing of a busy window, following the arrivals of John Kokas Alou, Isa Bugembe, Nordin Bunjo, Rogers Omedwa, Mustafa Mujuzi, Steven Munguchi, and Hassan Ssenyonjo.
With Mubiru’s addition, UPPC continue to assemble a squad designed to compete fiercely in their return to Uganda’s top tier. The club’s recruitment drive signals intent, with the experienced left-back expected to play a pivotal role in solidifying their defensive structure and injecting leadership into the dressing room.
As the Printers gear up for their Premier League comeback, all eyes will be on how Mubiru’s presence shapes their campaign.
