The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has announced that the draw for the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 will take place this Wednesday, February 18.

The event is scheduled to be held at FUFA House in Mengo, where the 32 surviving clubs will be paired and chart their possible path toward the Round of 16.

The upcoming draw follows an explosive Round of 64 that turned expectations upside down, with several top-tier sides suffering early exits. Uganda Premier League outfit Calvary were among the biggest casualties, stunned by minnows Football Classroom, now the only non-league side left in the competition.

Buhimba United Saints also saw their cup dreams cut short after falling to third-division side Tapoh, underlining the unpredictability that has defined this year’s tournament.

Clubs from the lower divisions have seized the spotlight with fearless performances. Melody Star, competing in the fifth tier, produced one of the standout stories by knocking out Bright Stars. Meanwhile, fourth-division outfit Happy Boys Kagaba eliminated Young Elephant to continue their remarkable run.

With giant-killers still lurking and several traditional heavyweights in the mix, the Round of 32 draw promises intrigue and tension as teams eye favourable matchups in their pursuit of silverware.
