Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club has bolstered its attack with the capture of seasoned forward Nelson Senkatuka, famously nicknamed ‘The Goal Machine.’
Renowned for his lethal finishing, blistering pace, and ability to adapt across the frontline, Senkatuka arrives as one of the most decorated marksmen in Ugandan football. Though at his deadliest in the centre-forward role, his versatility makes him an asset in any attacking setup.
Speaking to the club media, URA FC head coach Alex Isabirye could not hide his excitement at landing the proven goalscorer:
“We are delighted to bring Nelson on board. He is a powerful and experienced player who will give us a new dimension in our attack. What stands out just as much as his mentality, intelligence and ambition as a player, is the way he has worked hard throughout his career to get to where he is today.”
Senkatuka has already joined his new teammates in training as URA gears up for the FUFA Super 8 Tournament this week.

The striker’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Rising through the ranks of Hope FC, Proline FC, and later Soltilo Bright Stars, he soon established himself as one of the most feared finishers in the domestic game. His stint at KCCA FC saw him clinch the 2016 Uganda Premier League title before venturing abroad with Moroccan side Moghreb Athletico Tetouan in the Botola Pro League.
On the international scene, Senkatuka has proudly donned the Uganda Cranes jersey 17 times. His résumé includes two CHAN tournaments, appearances in CECAFA and COSAFA competitions, and a cherished medal from the historic 2015 CECAFA Cup triumph in Ethiopia.
