Buhimba United Saints continued their dream start to life in the topflight with another commanding display, dispatching Calvary FC 2-0 in a rescheduled encounter played on Saturday morning at Royals Park, Butema.
The fixture, initially slated for Friday, had to be pushed forward after torrential rain in Hoima rendered the pitch unplayable. Following an early-morning inspection, the Uganda Premier League secretariat confirmed a 10:00 a.m. kickoff the next day, and the Saints made the most of the change.

Fresh from their opening-day triumph over Entebbe UPPC, the home side picked up exactly where they left off, dictating play from the onset.
Their early dominance paid off midway through the first half when Mustapha Ntege Anwar calmly slotted home to give the Saints a deserved lead.
Calvary, still adjusting to life in the top tier, struggled to find their rhythm and were punished again moments before half-time as Swadik Moro doubled Buhimba’s advantage with a well-taken finish.
The second period saw Buhimba comfortably manage proceedings, frustrating Calvary’s attempts at a comeback while threatening on the counter.

With the final whistle, the newly promoted side cemented their perfect start to the campaign, two games, two wins, and zero goals conceded, a statement of intent from a team many had tagged as underdogs.
Buhimba United now sit atop the early table with six points from two outings, while Calvary FC, yet to register a point, find themselves rooted at the bottom.
