How much does Rogers Mato, the pacy winger for Uganda national team, earn at FK Vardar in North Macedonia?

Following his move from North Macedonian side Brera Strumica to FC Vardar, hardworking and pacy winger Rogers Mato has shown an upward trajectory, contributing to 20 goal involvements (18 goals, 2 assists) in 30 appearances. He joined the team in the January 2025 transfer window.

Salary

According to a source close to the player, given the lack of public information, Mato earns €10,000 gross salary per month, totalling to about €120,000 annually, having signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the North Macedonian side.

The attacker is a valuable asset, with Vardar’s total investments set to reach about €180,000, over that period. He received a sign-on fee of €52,000 upon signing the deal.

Career

Rogers Mato is a Ugandan professional footballer who has played for clubs in Uganda and North Macedonia, and currently plays as a right-winger for FK Vardar Skopje.

His career began in the youth leagues with Lweza FC before he joined Proline FC’s senior squad, where he was promoted to lead them to a promotion playoff.

After his time with KCCA FC, he moved to Şanlıurfaspor in Turkey and then to Brera Strumica in North Macedonia before joining his current club, FK Vardar Skopje, in early 2025.
