New KCCA FC defender Enock Walusimbi has credited the club’s warm and united dressing room for helping him settle quickly at Lugogo following his off-season move from URA FC.
The former Express FC skipper has already cemented a place in the Kasasiro Boys’ backline, featuring in four of the team’s opening five Uganda Premier League matches. His confident displays have reflected how comfortably he has adjusted to life under head coach Abdallah Mubiru.
Speaking to the club media, Walusimbi expressed gratitude for the smooth integration, highlighting the positive energy and camaraderie within the squad.
“I am settling in very well at the club. When I came in, I found a good number of players who are my friends, and it has been easy for me to adapt here,” Walusimbi was quoted by the club’s website.

He emphasized that the competitive yet supportive atmosphere at KCCA keeps everyone motivated, regardless of playing time.
“There is hard work and competition here. We are a family, and it is very important. It does not matter if someone has not played or not; there is love and motivation from one another,” he added.
The defender believes that such an environment is key to maintaining team unity and pushing collectively toward success. As the season unfolds, Walusimbi’s focus remains firm, to stay consistent, help his side defend resolutely, and contribute to KCCA’s trophy ambitions.
“I want to play more games, keep more clean sheets, win matches and win silverware for the club this season,” he concluded.
