KCCA FC face a crucial test on Monday evening when they travel to Butema to take on Buhimba United Saints at Royal Park, with the visitors determined to keep pace in the Uganda Premier League title race.
The Kasasiro Boys head into the encounter in high spirits after back-to-back victories in the Stanbic Uganda Cup, where they overcame BUL FC and Mbarara City FC.
Those wins ended a brief three-match stretch without a victory and restored confidence within the camp.

Currently five points adrift of league leaders Vipers SC, KCCA know that a win in Butema would significantly close the gap, cutting the deficit to just two points and strengthening their pursuit of the summit.
When the two sides first met this season at MTN Omondi Stadium, KCCA narrowly secured a 1β0 victory in a tightly contested match. Co-head coach Jackson Nelly Magera expects another difficult contest away from home.
βIn the reverse fixture, we struggled to break them down and we donβt expect it an easier again,β said Magera. βBut maybe, playing in their own backyard will prompt change of tactics as they also want to get points,β he added.
βThe first 10-15 minutes will determine our approach but the goal is to go there and win with a good performance,β he emphasized.
The hosts will be without head coach Robert Mukasa on the touchline after he received a red card in their previous match. Buhimba currently sit 14th on the league table with 15 points, just three points above the relegation zone, making every result critical in their fight for survival.
Both sides are also expected to hand opportunities to some of their recent additions. Buhimba could feature Musa Ssali and Bageya, while KCCA may turn to newly signed striker Kennedy Muserero to boost their attacking options.
Elsewhere on Monday, Ugandaβs most decorated club SC Villa will undertake a lengthy journey to Yumbe to face bottom-placed Calvary FC as the league action continues.
