KCCA will look to extend their renewed momentum when they take on a struggling Police side in a Uganda Premier League encounter at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
The Kasasiro Boys head into the contest with confidence after securing back-to-back victories over Buhimba United and BUL, results that helped them quickly shake off a brief slump in which they had suffered consecutive defeats.
Their visitors, however, arrive in Lugogo under pressure. Police, who once set the early pace in the title race, have seen their campaign lose steam in recent weeks. The Cops come into the fixture nursing a disappointing home defeat to BUL, a result that means they have managed just one victory in their last five league outings.
Tonight we take on Police at home.

Despite their recent struggles, Police will draw encouragement from the reverse fixture earlier this season. They stunned KCCA with a 2-0 triumph at the Kiira Road Arena in Kamwokya, a rare success in a fixture that has historically been dominated by the Lugogo outfit.
Across the previous 28 meetings between the two sides, KCCA have overwhelmingly controlled the rivalry with 17 victories. The remaining encounters ended in draws, with Police’s win earlier this season standing as their only triumph against the 2005 champions in that stretch.
Heading into the clash, Brian Ssenyondo and Jackson Magera’s side sit third on the league table with 36 points, while Police occupy sixth place, trailing their hosts by four points.
KCCA could hand a debut to Gabonese forward Axel Mezui, one of the club’s two fresh arrivals during the recent transfer window. Yet much of the spotlight will fall on Ivan Ahimbisibwe, who appears to have rediscovered his scoring touch after netting three times across the club’s last two outings.
Police will also receive a timely boost in attack with the return of DR Congo-born striker Bedia Ikamba from suspension. He is expected to partner Umar Kasumba and Charles Bbale as the visitors search for the goals needed to revive their stuttering run.
