The StarTimes Uganda Premier League is set to roar back to life in mid-February, and the second-round fixture list has landed with all the drama fans craveย crunch clashes, bitter rivalries and a run-in that could decide the destination of the 2025/26 crown.
After a pulsating first half of the campaign, the league returns on Thursday, February 12, with a three-match curtain-raiser before Matchday 16 wraps up on Saturday, February 14. From the off, the calendar wastes no time in throwing the heavyweights into the fire.
Table-toppers Vipers will restart their title defence on the road with a stern examination away to BUL at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on Friday, February 13. On the same night, Lugogo lights up as KCCA welcomes NEC in a meeting that promises intensity and edge in equal measure.
The following day brings more intrigue as SC Villa step into one of their most awkward assignments, a trip to face bogey opponents URA at Nakivubo. Earlier that Saturday, Express will host surprise pace-setters Entebbe UPPC in a double-header that could shift the early momentum of the second round.
The fixtures keep coming thick and fast in Matchday 17, with champions Vipers hosting NEC on Tuesday, February 17 before KCCA square up to BUL at Lugogo the next evening. Early March delivers another spicy subplot as KCCA host Police on March 6, a chance to settle scores after their defeat in the reverse fixture. Twenty-four hours later, Kampala pride is on the line when SC Villa and Express collide at Kadiba.

The derby narrative continues to build as KCCA and Express lock horns again five days later at Lugogo, setting the stage for a frenetic stretch in April that could define the title race. The capital will stand still on April 11 when SC Villa and KCCA renew their fierce rivalry in the Kampala derby, before Villa host reigning champions Vipers a week later in a showdown with massive championship implications.
All roads then point to April 29, when KCCA welcome Vipers to Lugogo in what many will view as a potential title decider. With Entebbe UPPC still in the mix and Villa lurking close behind, every point dropped in this period could prove costly.
The curtain will fall on the campaign on May 23, with the three main contenders, Vipers, KCCA and SC Villa, all finishing the season in front of their home supporters, setting up the possibility of a nerve-shredding finale.
