Ugandan footballers continue to stamp their authority across leagues worldwide, delivering decisive performances, key contributions, and steady consistency that underline the country’s growing football pedigree.

In Kenya, Samuel Ssenyonjo is quietly building momentum with AFC Leopards, proving to be a difference-maker in tight contests. The forward found the net in a narrow victory over Nairobi United before returning days later to put in a solid 71-minute shift as Leopards edged Tusker FC again.

On the opposite side, experienced defender Denis Iguma featured for Tusker, while Mustapha Kizza endured a difficult outing as Nairobi United fell to Ulinzi Stars.

Over in Scotland, Ugandan presence remained influential. Powerful striker Uche Ikpeazu turned provider for Ross County, registering an assist in a lively draw against Dunfermline.

Meanwhile, Jordan Obita delivered a disciplined full-match performance for Hibernian in a stalemate with Motherwell. Rogers Mato, however, had to settle for a place on the bench as Hearts secured a slim win over Dundee.

Across the Atlantic in the United States, young Ugandan talents continued to gain valuable minutes and influence matches.

Allan Oyirworth impressed across 90 minutes for New England Revolution II, helping secure a clean-sheet victory. In the same contest, Steven Sserwadda also completed the full match for Connecticut but picked up a booking, while Ibrahim Kasule made a second-half cameo.

Elsewhere, industrious midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga played a starring role for Oakland Roots, providing an assist in an entertaining draw against Phoenix Rising.

In Rwanda, APR FC’s dominance continued with Ugandan players firmly in the mix. Ronald Ssekiganda featured from the start in back-to-back victories, while Hakim Kiwanuka and Denis Omedi remained unused substitutes in both matches. Goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato, meanwhile, watched from the bench as his side suffered defeat to Marines.

Denmark saw mixed fortunes, as Robert Kakeeto went the distance for Middelfart in a narrow loss, while Moses Opondo made a brief but important cameo for Fredericia in a notable win over Copenhagen.

In Romania, Elio Capradossi was an unused substitute as Universitatea Cluj secured maximum points, while on the continental stage, veteran goalkeeper Denis Onyango observed from the sidelines as Mamelodi Sundowns fell on the night but progressed on aggregate in CAF Champions League action.

England’s lower leagues also felt the Ugandan impact. Toby Sibbick put in back-to-back full-match performances for Burton Albion, experiencing both defeat and victory within the week.

Nathan Asiimwe remained on the bench for AFC Wimbledon in consecutive fixtures, while teenage prospect Divine Mukasa made a second-half appearance for Leicester City. Bevis Mugabi stole headlines with a goal for Carlisle United in a high-scoring win.

In North Africa, Joseph Ochaya delivered a crucial assist for Arab Contractors in Egypt, capping off a strong individual display before being withdrawn late on.

Tanzania’s league also featured strong Ugandan representation. Joseph Akandwanaho put in two hardworking performances for TRA United, though results varied. Khalid Aucho was influential for Singida Black Stars in a midweek victory, while Allan Okello featured for Young Africans in a competitive draw over the weekend.
