Vipers SC’s opening slate of fixtures has undergone a significant reshuffle, with the Uganda Premier League (UPL) secretariat releasing new dates for the champions’ delayed matches.

The defending champions were initially slated to kick off the season against SC Villa, but that fixture was postponed due to Vipers’ involvement in the CAF Champions League.

Subsequent matches, including their trip to Kitara and encounters with UPDF FC and Calvary FC, were also left in limbo, partly due to the team’s boycott of the now-defunct three-phase league format and the continental commitments.

While the other three matches have received new dates, the scheduling of the Kitara clash remains unresolved, raising questions over the role of the FUFA Disciplinary Panel and the UPL in determining when the fixture will eventually take place.

The UPL has now announced updated dates for Vipers’ outstanding matches. The champions will face SC Villa at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, on November 29, host UPDF on December 2, and travel to Calvary on December 9, 2025.

Here is Vipers SC’s confirmed fixture list for the coming weeks:

  • Sat, 22 Nov 2025: Vipers SC vs Maroons FC – 8:00 PM (MD7)
  • Wed, 26 Nov 2025: Express FC vs Vipers SC – 8:00 PM (DH, MD8)
  • Sat, 29 Nov 2025: Vipers SC vs SC Villa – 8:00 PM (MD1)
  • Tue, 02 Dec 2025: Vipers SC vs UPDF FC – 7:00 PM (MD4)
  • Tue, 09 Dec 2025: Calvary FC vs Vipers SC – 4:00 PM

The UPL has also adjusted other fixtures to accommodate these changes. Matchday 7 originally saw Villa and Vipers scheduled on the same day and time, but this has been revised: Vipers SC will host Maroons FC on Saturday, 22 Nov 2025, at 8:00 PM at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

As a result, SC Villa vs NEC FC (M#56) has been moved to Thursday, 20 Nov 2025, 8:00 PM at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba.

The league secretariat further confirmed that double-header fixtures will be staged at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, across Matchdays 8, 12, and 13:

  • Wed, 26 Nov 2025: URA FC vs Buhimba United Saints FC – 5:00 PM
  • Wed, 26 Nov 2025: Express FC vs Vipers SC – 8:00 PM
  • Sat, 17 Jan 2025: URA FC vs Entebbe UPPC FC – 5:00 PM
  • Sat, 17 Jan 2025: Express FC vs SC Villa – 8:00 PM
  • Fri, 23 Jan 2025: Express FC vs Buhimba United Saints FC – 5:00 PM
  • Fri, 23 Jan 2025: URA FC vs Vipers SC – 8:00 PM

Consequently, previous double-header arrangements on Matchdays 9 and 15 have been scrapped. The revised fixtures for those rounds are now:

  • Wed, 03 Dec 2025: Express FC vs Calvary FC – M#69
  • Thu, 04 Dec 2025: URA FC vs Kitara FC – M#70
  • Thu, 12 Feb 2026: NEC FC vs Express FC – M#118
  • Fri, 13 Feb 2026: URA FC vs Police FC – M#116
