League leaders Vipers SC will be determined to stretch their unbeaten Uganda Premier League run when they host struggling URA FC at St. Maryโs Stadium, Kitende.
With the title race entering a decisive stage, the Venoms know victory would restore their seven-point cushion at the summit after KCCA FC reduced the gap to four points following Thursdayโs commanding win over Maroons FC.
Vipers have looked untouchable for most of the campaign and remain unbeaten on the field of play, a record they will be eager to preserve as they continue their charge towards an eighth Uganda Premier League crown.
The Kitende outfit also carry a dominant recent record against URA into the clash. Since 2021, the Venoms have won seven of the last eight meetings between the two sides, with the other ending in a draw. Their most recent encounter produced a convincing 3-0 triumph for Vipers at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.

While the hosts chase history and silverware, URA arrive in Kitende battling to keep their survival hopes alive after a turbulent season.
Hussein Mbalanguโs side sit on 25 points, just nine above the relegation zone, and remain without a win in their last nine competitive matches.
The Tax Collectors also head into the fixture wounded from their Uganda Cup semi-final first-leg defeat to SC Villa, further highlighting the difficult run they have endured in recent weeks.
With confidence soaring in the Vipers camp and pressure mounting on URA, all signs point towards another stern test for the visitors against a side refusing to slow down in the title race.
