Ugandan footballers continue to leave their mark across multiple leagues, delivering notable performances for their respective clubs in Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America.

Here’s a refreshed look at how they fared in recent fixtures.

Czech Republic

Defender Aziz Kayondo put in a full shift for Slovan Liberec, though his outing came with a booking as they settled for a goalless stalemate against Mlada Boleslav.

England

It was a demanding spell for Nathan Asiimwe, who featured twice in a tough week for AFC Wimbledon. He logged 69 minutes in a 2-0 midweek defeat to Stockport County before returning to play 71 minutes in a 3-1 loss against Plymouth Argyle.

At Leicester City, Divine Mukasa was introduced late in the game, coming on in the 71st minute as his side narrowly fell 1-0 to Portsmouth in the Championship.

Meanwhile, Toby Sibbick made a late cameo for Burton Albion, entering in the 78th minute to help secure a 1-1 draw with Peterborough United.

Tanzania

Allan Okello delivered one of the standout performances of the week, registering two assists as Young Africans SC cruised to a dominant 6-0 victory over Mbeya City.

In the same league, Khalid Aucho completed the full 90 minutes and picked up a caution as Singida Black Stars shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Mashuja.

United States

Elsewhere, Ibrahim Kasule featured for 75 minutes in MLS NEXT Pro, though his side fell short in a 2-1 defeat to New York City II.

Egypt

Joachim Ojera was heavily involved for Arab Contractors, playing 86 minutes in their solid 2-0 win over El Gaish.

Vietnam

Joseph Mpande completed the full match for PVF-CAND, though it ended in disappointment as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Phu Dong Ninh.

Kenya

Sam Ssenyonjo put in an 80-minute shift for AFC Leopards but could not prevent a heavy 3-0 loss to Kenya Police FC.

In another fixture, Mustapha Kizza and Shafic Ssebyala both came off the bench, Kizza in the 64th minute and Ssebyala deep into stoppage time, as Nairobi United secured an entertaining 4-2 win over Muranga Seal.

Nicholas Ssebwato led from the front, captaining Mukura Victory to a narrow 1-0 triumph over Al Merriekh.

For APR FC, Ronald Ssekiganda and Hakim Kiwanuka were named in the starting lineup, while Omedi began on the bench in their 2-1 defeat to Etincelles.

Ugandan players continue to demonstrate their growing influence across diverse football landscapes, with standout individual displays and valuable contributions reinforcing their presence on the global stage.
