With the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League campaign just days away, Police FC have added more firepower and experience to their ranks after confirming the signings of Charles Bbaale and Said Kyeyune.
Bbaale, a proven forward once on the books of SC Villa, arrives from Kenyan heavyweights Gor Mahia. His career has also taken him through Rwandan side Rayon Sport, making him one of the most travelled strikers in the local game. Known for his direct style and eye for goal, the 24-year-old is expected to shoulder much of the attacking responsibility for the Cops this term.
Kyeyune, on the other hand, brings seasoned creativity and leadership to the heart of midfield. A former Express FC player, he carries vast top-flight experience, having previously featured for URA, Proline, and even enjoyed a stint with Al-Merrikh in Sudan. His time with the national team further underlines his pedigree.

We welcome netbuster Charles Bbaale who joins us from Kenya’s Gor Mahia but also played for Rayon Sport (Rwanda) & SC Villa where he netted 12 UPL goals.
Blessed with pace & a knack for scoring from all angles, Bbaale brings firepower to our frontline. pic.twitter.com/Nlf5atAgg1

Both players have penned deals running until 2027, linking up with other new recruits Richard Matovu and Deus Bukenya, who were unveiled earlier in the transfer window.
Head coach Matia Lule will be banking on the new faces to inject freshness into a side that laboured through last season, finishing 11th with 36 points. Police FC, whose only league triumph came two decades ago in 2005, are hoping the latest arrivals will spark a revival as they seek to climb higher up the table this season.
