Career
Jamal has turned out for Richards Bay F.C. in South Africa since 2022 racking up over 85 games for the club.
He also plays for the Uganda Cranes, and has accumulated over 20 competitive caps in the coveted shirt.
He has previously played for KCCA FC in the Uganda Premier League, and had runs with Sudanese giants Al-Merrikh and Al-Hilal Omdurman, before making the switch to South Africa in 2021. Magoola has also featured for Uganda on the biggest continental stage, appearing in two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

Accolades and achievements
Jamal’s accolades include being a 2023 South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) Goalkeeper of the Season nominee and reaching 10 clean sheets in his 2022-23 season, becoming the first PSL goalkeeper to do so that season.
He has also been a key player for the Uganda national team over the years, participating in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in 2017 and 2019.
