The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has officially scheduled the draw for the quarterfinal stage of the Stanbic Uganda Cup, providing clarity to the eight teams still chasing silverware in the country’s premier knockout competition.

In a communication issued by the Competitions Department on Monday, participating clubs were notified of the arrangements for the highly anticipated draw.

The event will take place at the Plascon Headquarters, one of the tournament’s key sponsors, on Thursday morning.

“This is to inform you that the Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarter Final draws will be conducted on Thursday, 26th March 2026, at Plascon Headquarters starting 9:00 AM,” the statement reads.

The last eight features a strong representation from the Uganda Premier League, with seven top-flight sides advancing, alongside one underdog from the regional leagues aiming to upset the established order.

The qualified teams:

  • Happy Boys Kagaba (4th Division – Buganda Region – Kassanda)
  • KCCA FC
  • Vipers SC
  • SC Villa
  • URA FC
  • NEC FC
  • Express FC
  • Kitara FC

As per the competition format, all quarterfinal ties will be decided in a single match. Any game that ends level after regulation time will go straight to a penalty shootout, eliminating the need for extra time.

The quarterfinal fixtures are slated to be played over the weekend of April 4 and 5, 2026, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling round of knockout football.
