The road to glory in the 2025/26 Stanbic Uganda Cup has taken a dramatic turn following the official quarterfinal draw, which has produced a series of captivating fixtures across the country.

The draw ceremony for the 52nd edition of the prestigious knockout competition was conducted on Thursday, 26th March 2026, at the Kansai Plascon headquarters located in the Industrial Area of Kampala. Overseeing the process was Kansai Plascon’s Managing Director, Santosh Gumte, who presided over the event.

Among the standout ties, a heavyweight clash pits Uganda Revenue Authority FC against Kampala Capital City Authority FC, setting the tone for what promises to be an intense round of fixtures between two established forces in Ugandan football.

Elsewhere, underdogs Happy Boyz Kagaba will enjoy home advantage in Kassanda District when they welcome record league champions SC Villa. The tie offers a classic David-versus-Goliath narrative with everything to play for.

In Hoima, Kitara FC are set to host Express FC in what is expected to be a fiercely contested encounter between two sides eager to push deeper into the competition.

Meanwhile, defending champions Vipers SC face a stern test away to NEC FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo, in a fixture that could easily headline the round.

The draw was supervised by FUFA Competitions Director Aisha Nalule, who confirmed that the quarterfinal matches will be staged between 1st and 6th April 2026.

At stake is more than just progression, as the eventual winner of the Stanbic Uganda Cup will secure Uganda’s slot in the CAF Confederation Cup, adding continental significance to the domestic battle.
