Okello’s Golden Boot Glory
Vipers SC talisman Allan Okello emerged as the league’s deadliest finisher, walking away with the Golden Boot. Across 30 outings and over 2,500 minutes of football, Okello netted 19 times and added four assists to his tally.
Five Man of the Match honours underlined just how often he was the difference-maker. His sharp eye for goal, combined with an ability to bring teammates into play, provided the spark behind Vipers’ strong push this term.
Aliro the Creative Engine
URA FC’s Moses Aliro Okabo proved himself the league’s most reliable architect, scooping the Assist King award.
Despite featuring in only 22 games, the attacking midfielder still topped the charts with eight assists, complementing them with four goals of his own.
Twice singled out as Man of the Match, Aliro’s awareness and decision-making in the attacking third gave URA the cutting edge they often relied on.
Kusiima’s Wall of Steel
At the opposite end of the pitch, Kitara FC goalkeeper Chrispas Kusiima earned plaudits for his commanding presence between the sticks, taking home the Golden Glove.
In 27 appearances, he recorded an impressive 16 clean sheets, providing the backbone for Kitara’s defensive resilience. His anticipation, shot-stopping, and leadership from the back established him as one of the season’s most dependable performers.
These awards, delivered in partnership with Centenary Bank, not only celebrate individual brilliance but also underline the growing competitiveness and quality within the Uganda Premier League.
