The Fortebet Real Stars Monthly Awards for April were officially unveiled on Tuesday, 5th May, during a ceremony held at Nanjing Restaurant, where standout performers across football, rugby, and basketball were recognized for their exceptional contributions.

Stealing the spotlight in football was NEC FC goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo, whose remarkable performances set him apart from the competition.

In a rare feat for a shot-stopper, Ssebwalunyo not only delivered defensive solidity but also made a direct impact in attack, netting two league goals during the month.

His consistency between the posts was equally impressive, registering five clean sheets to outshine strong contenders Ivan Mayanja of Maroons FC and SC Villa forward Frank Ssebuufu.

Ssebwalunyoโ€™s journey to prominence has seen him represent several Ugandan clubs, including BUL FC, Maroons FC, and URA FC, before securing his place at NEC FC.

His football background also includes stints with Bulemeezi Ssaza in the Masaza Cup and Ndejje University in the University Football League, highlighting his steady rise through the ranks.
